Give it away
This is where you need to be

Instead of spending money on branded pens, yo-yos and other branded promotional items you usually receive at campus events, we’re doing something more worthwhile. We’re donating the money we used to spend on corporate give-aways to a charity of your choice as part of our annual Give-It-Away campaign.

For the last three years, we’ve been doing things differently. We think there are better ways to invest our money. So we set up our global Give-it-Away program, which is part of J.P. Morgan's Good Venture philanthropic program. Last year, we donated $80,000 to a selection of charities across the globe – that money is already making a difference right now.

The good news is, we've seen other firms now take this approach on campus too. We're proud of this new trend we've helped to set.

Our Give-It-Away campaign is just one of the ways that we’re making a difference in the world. But we need your help to do it. The voting is competitive. And, the charities need your vote. When the votes are counted in the spring of 2009, the charity with the most votes will receive the donation. You get the opportunity to help us do good.

** Winner announced **

The winner of this year's Give-It-Away competition is Gardens for Health International, who had the largest number of votes and will receive the $60,000 global donation from J.P. Morgan. Congratulations!

Gardens for Health International (GHI) works to support an integrated, communal approach to target malnutrition and HIV and AIDS in Rwanda. It was the winning non-profit organization in our 2007-08 Good Venture Undergraduate Case Competition, with the $25,000 donation from the case competition going directly to help promote proper nutrition and prevention, care and treatment for HIV and AIDS sufferers.
